| ROCK ICON JERRY LEE LEWIS TO HEADLINE NYC’S TOWN HALL ON MARCH 27 Added : 13/3/2008Legendary rock icon Jerry Lee Lewis will be headlining New York City's Town Hall on Thursday, March 27. Lewis recently performed on the 50th Annual Grammy Awards (February 10, 2008) to the delight of the live audience and the 650 million viewers in 120 countries worldwide who viewed the show. His performance of "Great Balls Of Fire" marked the 50th anniversary of that legendary song topping the pop charts in 1958.
The Killer was recently honored in November, 2007, by the Rock 'n' Roll Hall Of Fame with a week-long presentation that culminated with a tribute concert in his honor hosted by Kris Kristofferson. "The Life & Music of Jerry Lee Lewis" marked the first time a living artist has been so honored by the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
Mr. Lewis will also attend the Shangri-La Entertainment/Paramount Pictures movie premiere of Shine A Light on Sunday, March 30th, also in New York City. The long awaited Rolling Stones concert documentary by Martin Scorsese will open nationwide on April 4th.
