| Issue #4 (Vol. 1,.#4) | Blue Suede News #4 (officially it's called Vol. One Number 4) from August 1986 in NEW condition. Our 4th issue had the first meaty story, written by Lon Elmer whose dad was friends with Bill Haley from the early days, and who tried to pitch original songs to Haley. the issue also has a feature on bands seen around Seattle, including early advertisers Jr. Cadillac and Sparky & The Starfires plus Duffy Bishop & The Rhythm Dogs, 4 Bad Dudes (which featured piano man Tom LaVelle), the Native Boys (featuring current Roomful of Blues frontman Marc Dufresne and others. A humor piece by songwriter and journalist Gary Kanter details the alleged career of one Moe Townes, and there are a few reviews along with the regionl gig info and such.
