| The 25th Annual Rockers Reunion Winter Party The 25th Rockers Reunion will take place at the Rivermead Leisure Complex, Reading on Saturday 19th January 2008, from 5pm to 1am.Starring from Detroit, Michigan, the dynamic Sun recording legend performing a selection of his classic Rock'n'Roll songs including 'Long Blonde Hair', 'Waiting For You', 'Rock Rock' and 'New Spark For An Old Flame' Johnny Powersand featuring his incredible guitarist Chris Casello

Rockers Reunion is honoured to host a rare European appearance by Detroit rock 'n' roll legend Johnny Powers who will rock your socks off wth a stunning showcontaining 'Long Blonde Hair', 'Me And My Rhythm Guitar', 'Rock Rock' and much more. Johnny is bringing with him guitar hero Chris Casello (ex Jack Scott Band) so prepare for something special.
As long as you keep asking for Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers we will keep bringing the Welsh wild men back to close our show. Nobody sounds better after nine pints of beer.
Just about the most original rock 'n' roll band in Britain are Paul Ansell's Number Nine. This is their Rockers Reunion debut so hold on to your hats 'cos they are going to raise the roof.
Rocking up a storm will be Furious, a sensational young Liverpool teddy boy band who you will not want to miss. They are the future and it looks very exciting indeed.
If you want rock 'n' roll with attitude look no further than Mean Streak, one of the most popular bands on the circuit and don't miss our opening act Midnight Shift who come form the South Coast and will impress you with their authentic sound and great vocals.
Smokers Welcome - although the Rivermead is now a smoke free venue we have made special arrangements for somewhere warm, dry and legal to have a fag so there will be no need to huddle together in the cold and the rain. Pre-Rockers Reunion parties - The 3Rs club will be playing host to the Kingcats at Burghfield Sports and Social Club, James Lane, Burghfield, nr. Reading on the 18th January. Ring Mick The Mike (01189 842664) for details. On the same evening Pre-Rockers Reunion party takes place at the Rosecroft, St. Mary Cray, Orpington, Kent. Pete Bruce (01322 407110) is in charge and a top rocker band will be appearing.
Is it really 25 years since Len Paterson kick started the original Rockers Reunion club and the first reunion which took place at the Clarendon in Hammersmith? Where have all those years gone?
