Happy New Year!!!!!

Happy New Year from Supprime-Man & Elvire (the Americans)


Tonight we will go to a New Year's party with my father and his wife. They live in South Carolina. We will have dinner around 6:00 pm and later there will be hours of good country music. In the United States, it is customary to eat cabbage and pork on New Years day. By eating Cabbage and Pork, tradition states that you will have a good year with luck and prosperity. Elvire says that they do not have this custom in France.

Saturday we will spend the day visiting my father, eating good food, and playing some music. Hopefully Elvire will be able to make a video or two of my father playing some of his muscial instruments. He plays the guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle.

Sunday, we will drive back to Ohio. It is about an 8 1/2 hour drive back.
