Chanteur Rockabilly US né Wesley Erwin Curtis Jr., le 16 janvier 1939 à Olney (Texas). Mac Curtis a débuté en 1954, et l'année suivante, il accompagne Bob Luman pour son premier single et enregistre un premier disque en solo. En 1956, Mac signe chez King Records de Cincinnati (Ohio) où il sort 16 titres. Après cette riche période King, il enregistre sur Felsted (60), Dot (62) et Shah Records et une foule de petits labels. On le retrouve en 1973 chez Rollin' Rock Records, toujours virulent, bien qu'il ne retrouve pas le son King.
