Chanteur Rockabilly US né en 1925 à Quapaw (Oklahoma), Wayne Walker fit ses débuts en 1955 en duo avec Jimmy Lee Fautheree, enregistrant un single pour Chess Records. Il poursuit ensuite une carrière solo chez ABC (56), Columbia (57-58), Coral (58), Brunswick (59), etc... Excellent compositeur, Wayne Walker a écrit pour Webb Pierce, Carl Perkins et Johnny Burnette.
