Elvis News It is reported that 'Shout! Factory' is preparing to release the 1979 TV movie
Elvis, starring
Kurt Russell as Elvis Presley on DVD. The film co-stars Shelly Winters as Elvis' mother and Pat Hingle as Col. Tom Parker. The movie is named to be the best biopic of Elvis ever made. Hopfully this time the news will be good. The DVD was announced to be released in August 2007, but that never happened. No reason official reson was given.
