Il commenca sa carrière à la fin de l'année 1952 par un HILLBILLY BOOGIE "ROCK ME" un titre de Piano RED de 1950 et rockabillisé par Little Jimmy DICKENS "SHE SURE CAN ROCK ME" en décembre 1953
