Chanteur US né Enos William McDonald, le 1^er octobre 1915 à Greenway (Arkansas). Skeets McDonald a débuté en 1950 dans le groupe de Johnny White: les "Rhythm Riders". Il signe en 1951 avec Capitol Records et grave plusieurs disques. En 1959, il passe à la Columbia où il y restera jusqu'en 1968. Il fut un chanteur régulier au Town Hall Party (KTTV, Compton, Californie). Après un dernier single début 68 pour un petit label, Skeets meurt d'une crise cardiaque le 31 mars de la même année. Vocaliste attachant, il a su briller dans différents styles: le Hillbilly, le Rockabilly et le Rock 'n' Roll.

Skeets was born and raised on a farm in Rector, Arkansas. He learned how to play the guitar when he was a kid. His career like many was interrupted by World War II and he was part of the US Army; he served with the Medical 69th General Hospital that served in North Africa, India and Okinawa.
During the mid-1950s he was recording on Capitol Records. He was also writing songs at that time.
