Elvis Presley Day Ceremony
8:45 AM. Front steps of Graceland Mansion (or a tent on the north lawn if there is precipitation). The traditional ceremony with special program hosted by Graceland/EPE officials, featuring a birthday cake cutting and a proclamation of Elvis Presley Day by Memphis and Shelby County officials.
Priscilla Presley will participate in this ceremony for the first time. Free admission. Complimentary birthday cake and coffee served at The Chrome Grille restaurant across the street from the mansion following the ceremony. This year's Elvis birthday cake is a very special creation by the culinary artists of The Peabody hotel in downtown Memphis.
