Proceeds to benefit Presley Place in Memphis, TN Bruce Rossmeyer, CEO of 13 Harley-Davidson® locations including the World’s Largest Harley-Davidson dealership located in Daytona, Florida and Graceland® Harley-Davidson, proudly announces that bikes numbered 1-29 in the “Elvis Presley 30th Anniversary Signature Motorcycle Collection,” have all successfully sold. The last bike in the series, bike number 30, will be auctioned in an online sale via Ebay Motors to benefit Presley Place, a provider of transitional housing for homeless families in Memphis, TN. Elvis Presley not only left behind a great musical legacy behind, but contributed to the popularity of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles through his well-know passion for the bikes. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Presley’s passing, Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson® recreated the personalized 1957 Black Harley-Davidson FLH model that Presley once owned. With only 30 of these motorcycles being customized and individually serial numbered from one to 30 with the coveted 30th being auctioned here on Ebay, each motorcycle in the elite Elvis Presley Anniversary Bike Signature Series will capture Presley’s passion for motorcycles. Motorcycles numbered 1-29 were delivered at the front steps of the Graceland Mansion on August 15th during Elvis Week.
Although designed to replicate the 1957 model that Elvis owned and appearing as a classic custom vintage bike, the motorcycles will feature a 2007 Softail® chassis and drive train maintaining all of today’s engineering and safety features.
Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson® has also partnered with renowned Harley-Davidson® painter David Uhl and Harley-Davidson® sculptor Jeff Decker, who created unique pieces that will be included in the winning bid for the 30th Elvis Presley Anniversary Bikes. Each exclusive piece created by Uhl and Decker was numbered from one to 30 and has been paired with the corresponding motorcycle.
Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. will begin the auction with a minimum bid of $58,815.
