Open casting call for rock musical
'Million Dollar Quartet' in NashvillePublished by Dave Paulson on July 16, 2010 Think you can portray the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis or Carl Perkins
on the big stage? If so, the casting directors of rock musical Million Dollar Quartet
would like to hear from you.
They'll be holding an open audition for these roles on Monday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at Nashville’s S.I.R. Studios (101 Cherry Avenue). They're looking to plug in parts for the
show's Broadway and Chicago productions as well as the upcoming national tour.
The show has a few Nashvillians working behind the scenes, as well — Tony-nominated book
writer Colin Escott and music director Chuck Mead (of BR549 fame) are Music City residents.
They'll also be participating in the open casting.
