Jack Paget, Canadian Country Artist, Dies at 93 Mr. Henry John "Jack" Paget of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Monday,
August 30, 2010 at the age of 93 years.
He loved his wife, his Harley and Cessna 120 (not necessarily in that order). Among his many
interests, including people and music, was fixing clocks ( the older the better!).
Jack is survived by his devoted wife 60 1/2 years, Philomena; his sister, Pamela Conroy of Kelowna,
British Columbia; four nieces; Anne (Leo) Touw of Kelowna, British Columbia; Sandra (Pat) Crieger of
Kelowna, British Columbia, Linda (Rocky) and Tommy McWilliam of Athabasca, Alberta, and Shona
(John) Hummell and Bradley and Kimberley along with their families.
Jack was predeceased by his brother, Thomas and Thomas's wife, Margaret; son, Ian and also by his
grandniece, Ashley Fitzpatrick and her son, Damien.
At Jack's request, no funeral service will be held. Jack's family has selected to have a tree planted in
his honour in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in Red Deer County.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jack's memory may be made directly to the Canadian
National Institute for the Blind, 1929 - Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4G 3E8.
